I would like to be able to keep up with my daughter.  The one who runs xc, not the one who's going to change the world through dance.  Although I would like to be able to dance also, so I change that to me wanting to be able to keep up with both my daughters.

I have two gorgeous daughters; two good-looking cats and two dogs with great personalities.

Weather was great.  It rained yesterday to clear all the dust we've had of late.

Paced TJ and she PR'ed.  And placed second in her age group.

She kept calling me names, but luckily my self-esteem is too high for her to make a dent.

The race was a bit short and the official clock was off.  I suppose they started the clock late.  It read 1:39: something when we came in, but the garmin was 1:41:10.

How did you get so much faster than me?

I don't know buddy Burt. After your heroic showing at Ragnar, I'm not sure if I'm faster. You definitely have more guts.

Sam, I'm not that altruistic. I just wasn't ready to run a race, so I offered to pace a friend. She would yell at me, because I would speed up and slow down. That was due to the ipod. When the Beasties are on I get pumped.

That would be hard for me to be at a race and pace someone..I would have to Valium to chill me out..haha.

Music has that affect on running, I guees you should have carried a boom box so she could hear the music and speed up with you!

What a pacer.
