I would like to be able to keep up with my daughter. The one who runs xc, not the one who's going to change the world through dance. Although I would like to be able to dance also, so I change that to me wanting to be able to keep up with both my daughters.

Average temps of 35 F at the base and 60 mph gusts of wind chill bringing temps below 10 degrees at the summit. 7000+ elevation. Tons of water obstacles. 37% opted for a DNF.

How did we prepare for this? Well first it was a trip to the Juniors dept. Then Michael's for some fabric paint and spray glitter.

For our interview, I was chosen as the spokesman, er spokesperson for our team.

Random folks stopped us to have their pictures taken with yours truly and his backup dancers.

We were greeted by hail at the finish.

Overall we came in second in the only division that really counts. The costume division.
