I would like to be able to keep up with my daughter. The one who runs xc, not the one who's going to change the world through dance. Although I would like to be able to dance also, so I change that to me wanting to be able to keep up with both my daughters.
Personal:
I have two gorgeous daughters; two good-looking cats and two dogs with great personalities.
Ok ... that is the first time I have ever heard those two things together. "threw my back out ... rough game of spades". You are talking about the card game right? Or are you throwing spades around (like a javelin?).
Take it easy on the back (and watch out for flying spades) ;-)
Sounds like you are having too much fun! 7.03 is very nice for an injured runner. Ok was it a card game or the javelin thing? I think Bonnie and I are thinking there is much more to this story :D Do tell!
I like to exaggerate. My back decided to go into spasms during a game of cards. Probably from tweaking it during yoga last week. My spade partner's sister is a doctor so his medicine cabinet is like a pharmacy. He gave me some prescription muscle relaxant and all is well.
My story may change to shovel-flinging as that is much more macho.
Sorry to hear about your back. I'm sure the gourmet selections at your "puke zone" helped to calm things down though. :)
Glad it's feeling somewhat better. Don't overdo the running while your injured though.
