Long-Term Running Goals:

I would like to be able to keep up with my daughter.  The one who runs xc, not the one who's going to change the world through dance.  Although I would like to be able to dance also, so I change that to me wanting to be able to keep up with both my daughters.

Personal:

I have two gorgeous daughters; two good-looking cats and two dogs with great personalities.

Still jet lagged, so I didn't set my alarm.  I figured if I woke up in time for the race then I'd go.  I woke up at 4, despite going to bed later than I wanted to last night.

Don't know what happened at the race.  Maybe the leaders took a wrong turn.  Ended up being a 3k instead of a 5k.  It was fine with me though.  I was ready to be done.

Broke in my new shoes.

87.8 F; 25% hum; 3.5 mph winds; clear
