Abs wasn't too bad last night, even after overeating again.  Too many people are leaving and having going away parties.  They should have going away runs or something besides let's stuff our face celebrations.

Cals took over 26 minutes today.  A lot more resting than usual.

Stationary biked for 90 minutes.   Ankle is still too angry at me to run.

Half day at work today, Yippee!

That's a great idea. For my next birthday, I'll throw a 1/2 marathon or maybbe a tri. I'm turning 40, I can do whatever I want. We can have quinoa and tofu! ;) I am getting the quinoa today and having Rachels Rice with eggplant and potatoes tomorrow night

On my birthday's I crave chocolate and icecream somethings, not tofu! LOL Especially if there is a going away run. I totally understand though, going away food is never healthy and always tempting. Speaking of tempting, I took a candy making class last night, and now know how to make some pretty devilish goodies. I better start putting in the mileage to make up for my new hobbies.

I'm a health food nerd- quinoa and tofu are my idea of fun!

And Camille, if you make peanut butter cups, Mike will run all the way to your house. He talks about gummies, but peanut butter cups are his real weakness.

From Camille on Fri, Oct 10, 2008 at 13:46:42

usually I'm good (I love veggies!), but when I have that sweet tooth, I have it bad. So much so that I don't think the peanutbutter cups will last until Mike gets here. LOL

I LOVE anything with peanut butter and chocolate! My 5 year old is drop dead allergic to nuts and it just makes me crave it all the more. I know, I am a bad mother. When I was nursing him, I couldn't have milk because he was allergic to that too. I would dream about drinking milk. I felt SO guilty!

Your ankle is angry at you because you won't just lay off of it. Swimming and all this other stuff still stresses it out. Too bad you aren't here to just get a good old fashioned guitar hero, couch potato workout.

Marion,

Let me know how you like my favorite casserole.

Camille,

I agree with you, birthdays should be decadent. Going away parties don't need to be, especially with the heavy rotation we have here.

Hon,

You obviously haven't paid attention to me play guitar hero. It is murder on the ankles.
