I would like to be able to keep up with my daughter.  The one who runs xc, not the one who's going to change the world through dance.  Although I would like to be able to dance also, so I change that to me wanting to be able to keep up with both my daughters.

Personal:

I have two gorgeous daughters; two good-looking cats and two dogs with great personalities.

Got up at O wacko thirty to spin, but all the bikes were taken.  Used the stairmaster until an elliptical was open.  Stairmasters are evil.

* Rode a bike to Abs tonight.  Was able to keep up with the instructor for the first time!  Also had a terrible view.  I was directly behind hairy, too-short shorts man.  Almost went blind when I looked ahead during planks.  Gotta take the good with the bad.

I used to love them, but now they hurt my knee.

From montelepsy on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 02:03:36

They hurt my pride. My quads can't keep up.

Remember when we used to have one, in that apartment in Bridgewood? You used to use it holding Amanda.

From montelepsy on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 02:10:07

I don't remember, but it doesn't suprise me that I would unintentionally endanger our toddler. Ah, youth.

From Camille on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 10:52:12

LOL I can almost picture that one. I've only used the stairmaster once, and that was enough for me. I was pregnant, and it was right before my doctor put me on a strick, no exercizing regiment. Actually, come to think about it, it *may* have been *why* he put me on the regiment. It wasn't, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I love them (if I know what they are). Aren't they like a moving mini escalator?? I really do love them! That and wall sits!

Quit getting up at wacko times, you'll live longer. ;o)

From montelepsy on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 13:22:04

Camille,

Did he/she give you a reason for not exercising?

Kelli,

Look who's calling the wacko wacko, wacko!

Who likes wall sits? Or doesn't like Napoleon?

From Kelli on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 13:27:04

Well, I know plenty who do not like Napoleon (they are about as fun as cardboard)! But you've got me on the wall sits!! Ya wanna know why I like them? It is the only thing I do at the gym where I can kick the pants off of all of the skinny people!!

From montelepsy on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 13:32:51

So you like wall sits for selfish reasons. :)

From Camille on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 13:34:19

That's because the skinny people lack muscles!

Mike - I was told no exercizing because Melanie wasn't my first pregnancy but is my first baby. The doctor was playing it super safe. (Which I appreciate). I had just got into running and started a regular exercize routine, and then I found out I was pregnant. So, I was happy to give up exersizing for Melanie. She was definitely worth it!

From Kelli on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 13:48:04

I am very selfish, yes. I can not do a pull up to save my life, but I can wall sit all day!

From Marion on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 13:52:13

I am going back to bed- you guys are making me tired!

nice work out Mike. Kelli do a wall sit for me! CAmille- you are right, having that sweet baby is worth giving up anything, even running :)

From montelepsy on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 14:00:36

Even homemade brownies.

From Marion on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 14:15:21

Yes- even homemade brownies ;)

From Camille on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 14:18:02

I agree... I'd give up homemade brownies for Melanie.
